Platt, Kent
Counselling for Platt and St Mary's Platt
Effectively next door — three minutes, and free parking when you arrive.
Getting here from Platt
Platt sits immediately east of Borough Green, and the two run almost into one another. The drive is around three minutes; from most of St Mary's Platt it is a walk of fifteen or twenty minutes if the weather is behaving.
Free parking on site, private entrance, no shared waiting area.
Who I see from Platt
Platt is a small parish and, like its neighbours, largely commuter. What I see from here is much the same mix as the surrounding villages: drinking that has become the main way of ending the day, anxiety that has never been mentioned to anyone, and couples where one person's gambling or spending has recently come to light.
Proximity cuts both ways here. It is convenient, and if you would rather not walk into a therapy room three minutes from your house, that is entirely understandable — say so and we will talk about alternatives.
If close is too close. Some people from Platt and Borough Green would genuinely rather travel. Online sessions remove the problem, and if you would prefer a therapist further away I will give you two or three names in Sevenoaks or Maidstone without any awkwardness. Getting help matters more than getting it from me.

Common questions
How far is it from St Mary's Platt?
Around three minutes by car and roughly a fifteen to twenty minute walk.
I would rather not be seen locally.
Understandable, and common. There is free on-site parking and a private entrance, but online sessions remove the issue altogether — or I will refer you further afield.
When are you available?
Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, 9am to 5pm. Those slots do fill, so it is worth ringing early in the week.
Talk it through first
The first step is a short phone call. No commitment, no pressure — just a conversation about what is going on and whether I am the right person to help.
