Counselling for Snodland

Around fifteen minutes, with free parking and no waiting list.

Getting here from Snodland

Snodland is roughly fifteen minutes from Borough Green, down through Birling and Leybourne or out along the A228 and across. Free parking on site when you arrive.

Who I see from Snodland

Snodland and the villages along the Medway valley are not especially well served for private therapy — most of the provision sits either in Maidstone or towards Sevenoaks, and both mean a drive.

What I see from this direction is heavily weighted towards addiction: alcohol above all, then cocaine, then gambling. Often people who have already been through a free statutory service, found the group format did not suit them, and want individual work without a waiting list.

If cost is the issue

I would rather say this plainly than have you not ring. Private therapy is not affordable for everyone, and there are genuinely good free services in this part of Kent — Change Grow Live and We Are With You both operate locally, NHS Talking Therapies takes self-referrals without a GP, and AA, NA and SMART Recovery all have meetings within a short drive.

If money is the obstacle, say so on the free call. There may be options, and if there are not I will point you somewhere useful rather than leaving you with nothing.

What I work with

The approach is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, supported by CBT where a specific belief or behavioural loop needs breaking.
